Install Trello integration ​

The Trello integration can be found here. Please install it in your environments before proceeding with the steps below.

Connecting a Trello account ​

  1. Click on Connect Account'Click connect account'
  2. Type in a value for the Tenant ID. This can be an ID of your choosing. And then click on Get connection link'Get connection link'
  3. A new link will be generated. Clicking on the link will open a new tab with the list of integrations. You can share this link with your customers too and they will be able to connect their Trello account. 'Share connection link'
  4. Select Trello 'Select Trello'

Finding your Token and API Key ​

WARNING

Admin role is required to use this API

You'll now be prompted to add the Token and API Key.

  1. To find the Token and API Key. Sign in to your Trello account.

  2. Go to the following link for Power-Ups.

  3. On top right, click on New button to create integration. 'Click on New button'

  4. Enter the details, no need to enter anything in Iframe connector URL field. Click on Create. 'Click on Create'

  5. Now, under the API key Section of your Power-Up, copy the API Key and paste it in the API Key field in Truto connect interface. 'Copy API Key'

  6. Then, click the Token link to generate a token. In the subsequent page, click on Allow to generate the token. And finally copy the token from the last page and paste it in the Token field in Truto connect interface.

7_Voila!_ You should now see a connection successful message. You can now close this tab.

  1. Go to your Truto account and you should see the integration under Integrated Accounts. Click on the Account ID to change or edit the integration to suit your needs.

Uninstalling the Trello integration ​

To uninstall the Trello integration from your Truto account, select the Trello integration from the Integrations tab.

Click on the Settings tab in Trello Integration page

And then click on Uninstall. Uninstalling the integration will also remove all the Trello integrated accounts from your Truto account.
