Tailscale ​

Install Tailscale integration ​

The Tailscale integration can be found here. Please install it in your environments before proceeding with the steps below.

Connecting a Tailscale account ​

  1. Click on Connect Account'Click connect account'
  2. Type in a value for the Tenant ID. This can be an ID of your choosing. And then click on Get connection link'Get connection link'
  3. A new link will be generated. Clicking on the link will open a new tab with the list of integrations. You can share this link with your customers too and they will be able to connect their Tailscale account. 'Share connection link'
  4. Select Tailscale 'Select Tailscale'

Finding your API Token and Tailnet ​

You'll now be prompted to add the API Token and Tailnet.

Tailnet ​

  1. To find the Tailnet, Sign in to your Tailscale account.
  2. You can find it in Header as shown below 'Header of Tailscale'

API Token ​

  1. To find the API Token, Sign in to your Tailscale account.

  2. Click on the Settings button as shown below. 'Click on settings button'

  3. Under Settings, click on Keys. 'Click on Keys under settings'

  4. Under API access tokens, click on Generate access token. 'Click on generate access token'

  5. Enter Description and click on Generate access token, You will find your API Token. 'Enter description and press on Generate access token'

  6. Enter your API Token and Tailent. Click on Connect.

  1. Voila! You should now see a connection successful message. You can now close this tab.

  2. Go to your Truto account and you should see the integration under Integrated Accounts. Click on the Account ID to change or edit the integration to suit your needs.

Uninstalling the Tailscale integration ​

To uninstall the Tailscale integration from your Truto account, select the Tailscale integration from the Integrations tab.

Click on the Settings tab in Tailscale Integration page

And then click on Uninstall. Uninstalling the integration will also remove all the Tailscale integrated accounts from your Truto account.
