Gorgias

Install Gorgias integration

You can start from the Gorgias App Store or from your Truto account.

From the Gorgias App Store

  1. In your Gorgias account, go to Settings → App Store → All Apps.
  2. Find Truto in the list.
  3. Select the app and click Authorize.
  4. Log in to Truto, then follow the steps in Connecting a Gorgias account below.

From your Truto account

The Gorgias integration can be found here. Please install it in your environments before proceeding with the steps below.

Connecting a Gorgias account

  1. In your Truto account, go to Integrated Accounts and click Connect Account. Integrated accounts page with the Connect Account button The Connect Account button is at the top right of the Integrated accounts page.

  2. Enter a Tenant ID, choose the Environment and Region, then click Get connection link. Connect an account modal The Tenant ID can be any ID of your choosing. You can also pick an existing tenant from the dropdown above it. For Region, pick where this integrated account should live: Western North America, Eastern North America, European Union or Asia Pacific.

  3. A connection link is generated. Click the open-in-new-tab icon next to the link. You can also copy the link and share it with your customers so they can connect their own Gorgias account. Generated connection link Use the icon next to the link to open it in a new tab, or Copy to share it.

  4. Click Get Started. Get Started screen This screen explains how Truto keeps the connection secure.

  5. Search for Gorgias and select it. Select Gorgias from the integrations list Type "gorgias" in the search box to find it quickly.

  6. Enter your Gorgias subdomain and click Connect. Enter your Gorgias subdomain Your subdomain is in your helpdesk URL. If the URL starts with acme.gorgias.com, enter acme.

  7. You'll now be asked to log in to your Gorgias account and allow access to Truto. Go through the steps.

  8. Voila! You should now see a connection successful message. You can now close this tab.

  9. Go to your Truto account and you should see the new Gorgias integration under Integrated Accounts. Click on the Account ID to start calling the API. For example, you can enter a Gorgias ticket ID and pull that ticket's details in Truto.

What to expect in Gorgias

Connecting Truto does not create an HTTP integration in Gorgias, so the integration won't be visible in Gorgias.
