Datadog

Install Datadog integration

The Datadog integration can be found here. Please install it in your environments before proceeding with the steps below.

Connecting a Datadog account

  • Admin role is required to use this API

  1. Click on Connect Account Click connect account

  2. Type in a value for the Tenant ID. This can be any ID of your choosing. And then click on Get connection link Get connection link

  3. A new link will be generated. Clicking on the link will open a new tab with the list of integrations. You can share this link with your customers too, and they will be able to connect their Datadog account. Share connection link

  4. Select Datadog Select Datadog

Finding your Datadog API Key and Application Key

  1. You'll now be prompted to select the Datadog Region and. add the API Key and Application Key.
  2. To find your Datadog Region/Site, refer this official Datadog documentation
  3. To find API Key, Sign in to your Datadog organization as a Admin user. Navigate to Organization Settings > Application Keys. Click New Key and enter the Application Key in Truto.
  4. Navigate to Organization settings, then click the API keys tab.
  5. Click the New Key button.
  6. Enter a name for your key.
  7. Click Create API key.
  8. Now copy the API key and enter it in Truto. Click Connect.

  1. Voila! You should now see a connection successful message. You can now close this tab.

  2. Go to your Truto account, and you should see the new Datadog integration under Integrated Accounts. Click on the Account ID to view the details and initiate API calls.
