Use Cases

Why integrate with Google Reviews

Common scenarios for SaaS companies building Google Reviews integrations for their customers.

01

Embed reputation management inside vertical SaaS

Give restaurant, healthcare, or home services platforms a native way to surface Google reviews next to their core operational data, so users never leave the app to check what customers are saying.

02

Power a unified review response inbox

Let support and marketing teams read Google reviews and publish owner replies from the same interface they use for email, chat, and tickets — turning reviews into a first-class support channel.

03

Scale multi-location reputation for franchises

Franchise management and enterprise marketing platforms can ingest reviews across hundreds of locations in bulk and drive reply-rate SLAs from a single corporate dashboard.

04

Automate Google Business Profile provisioning

Location data management and local SEO tools can create and update Google locations programmatically whenever a customer opens a new storefront or changes hours, eliminating manual GBP edits.

05

Trigger AI-drafted responses to negative reviews

Customer experience platforms can watch for low star ratings, generate LLM-drafted apology replies, and publish approved responses back to Google — closing the loop automatically.

What You Can Build

Ship these features with Truto + Google Reviews

Concrete product features your team can ship faster by leveraging Truto’s Google Reviews integration instead of building from scratch.

01

Multi-location review feed

Pull reviews across every connected account and location into a unified, filterable feed using bulk review ingestion for up to 50 locations per call.

02

Two-way owner reply publishing

Let users draft, edit, and post owner responses from your UI, with edits syncing back to Google via the reply endpoint.

03

Reply deletion and moderation workflows

Allow managers to retract published replies directly from your app when responses need to be corrected or removed.

04

Location provisioning pipeline

Create new Google Business Profile locations with storefront address, categories, and hours whenever a new site is onboarded in your platform.

05

Bulk hours and location detail sync

Push holiday hours, address changes, and category updates to hundreds of locations at once from a single control panel in your app.

06

Star rating alerts and sentiment dashboards

Poll for new reviews, score them by star rating and comment sentiment, and route 1–2 star reviews into urgent workflows or tickets.

Why Truto

Why use Truto’s MCP server for Google Reviews

Other MCP servers give you a static tool list for one app. Truto gives you a managed, multi-tenant MCP infrastructure across 750+ integrations.

01

Auto-generated, always up to date

Tools are dynamically generated from curated documentation — not hand-coded. As integrations evolve, tools stay current without manual maintenance.

02

Fine-grained access control

Scope each MCP server to read-only, write-only, specific methods, or tagged tool groups. Expose only what your AI agent needs — nothing more.

03

Multi-tenant by design

Each MCP server is scoped to a single connected account with its own credentials. The URL itself is the auth token — no shared secrets, no credential leaking across tenants.

04

Works with every MCP client

Standard JSON-RPC 2.0 protocol. Paste the URL into Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or any MCP-compatible agent framework — tools are discovered automatically.

05

Built-in auth, rate limits, and error handling

Tool calls execute through Truto’s proxy layer with automatic OAuth refresh, rate-limit handling, and normalized error responses. No raw API plumbing in your agent.

06

Expiring and auditable servers

Create time-limited MCP servers for contractors or automated workflows. Optional dual-auth requires both the URL and a Truto API token for high-security environments.

How It Works

From zero to integrated

Go live with Google Reviews in under an hour. No boilerplate, no maintenance burden.

01

Link your customer’s Google Reviews account

Use Truto’s frontend SDK to connect your customer’s Google Reviews account. We handle all OAuth and API key flows — you don’t need to create the OAuth app.

02

We handle authentication

Don’t spend time refreshing access tokens or figuring out secure storage. We handle it and inject credentials into every API request.

03

Call our API, we call Google Reviews

Truto’s Proxy API is a 1-to-1 mapping of the Google Reviews API. You call us, we call Google Reviews, and pass the response back in the same cycle.

04

Unified response format

Every response follows a single format across all integrations. We translate Google Reviews’s pagination into unified cursor-based pagination. Data is always in the result attribute.

FAQs

Common questions about Google Reviews on Truto

Authentication, rate limits, data freshness, and everything else you need to know before you integrate.

How does authentication work for Google Reviews?

Google Business Profile uses OAuth 2.0. Truto handles the full OAuth flow, token storage, and refresh so your end users just click connect — you never touch client secrets or refresh tokens directly.

Can we fetch reviews for many locations at once?

Yes. Truto exposes a bulk review fetch that retrieves reviews for up to 50 locations in a single call, which is the recommended pattern for multi-location and franchise use cases to avoid per-location rate limits.

Can we both read and reply to reviews?

Yes. You can list reviews, fetch a single review by ID, create or update owner replies, and delete replies. Updating an existing reply uses the same create-reply operation, which overwrites the prior response on Google.

Can we create and update Google Business Profile locations?

Yes. Truto supports listing, fetching, creating, updating, and deleting locations, as well as listing and creating accounts — enabling full provisioning and ongoing management of location metadata like hours, address, and categories.

How fresh is review data?

Data freshness depends on how often you poll. Truto does not push real-time review webhooks from Google (Google Business Profile does not offer public review webhooks), so most customers schedule frequent polls of the list and bulk-get endpoints to detect new reviews.

What about Google Business Profile API rate limits and access?

The Google Business Profile API requires an approved quota project from Google and enforces strict per-minute quotas. Truto's bulk endpoints and unified pagination help you stay within limits, but your end users' Google accounts must have management access to the locations you query.
